Q. What are carpet remnants?
A. Carpet remnants are any piece or roll of carpet that is sold at a discount. Remnants are typically small pieces of carpet that are left over after an installation or fabrication is finished.
Q. What are the differences between carpet remnants and roll ends?
A. Roll ends are the excess materials left at the manufacturer. Anything under 25’ long is then considered a roll end.
Q. Where do you find carpet remnants?
A. We seek out remnants and roll ends from high-end wool manufacturers. Because of this, we never know what patterns, colors, or sizes will be available. We purchase multiple large remnant packages per month, and each package includes dozens of remnants.
Q. What are the top uses of carpet remnants?
A. Carpet remnants make excellent area rugs and runners. All carpet remnants can be customized for shape, size, and fabrication. We purchase them from mills all over the world and from local installers that don’t have the opportunity to sell the remnants on their own. All of this allows us to maintain a unique selection for many project types.
Q. How do I know what size I need?
A. Though we do not go out and do in home estimates, we’d be happy to give you an estimate based on your dimensions. Just measure your rooms from the widest part to the longest. If you are doing multiple rooms it never hurts to draw out your rooms with the measurements. If you put a deposit on a piece of carpet and are concerned about the sizes working we can come out and confirm measurements.
Q. What sizes do you carry?
A. We have all sizes of carpeting in stock ranging from small runners and area rugs all the way up to rolls that could carpet your whole house. There is no job too little or too big for us.
Q. Is this carpet new? Is it first quality?
A. Yes, all of our carpet is new – mill direct. All of it is also first quality. When the carpeting comes into our store we personally inspect and measure each roll. If there is a defect or small tear from shipping in the carpet we will mark it on the ticket so the consumer is well aware.
